Describe a time when you helped someone improve their skills or knowledge significantly. What was your strategy?

As a Junior Coach, I observed that one of my team members—despite her strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities—initially struggled with public speaking. To help her develop this critical skill, I encouraged her to present during every training session and recorded her performances for structured feedback. Together, we reviewed these recordings to identify areas for improvement, focusing on clarity, confidence, and delivery.

The results were transformative. By our next case competition, her progress was so evident that she was selected as one of our four presenters, even outperforming teammates who were naturally more comfortable with public speaking. Her ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity—coupled with her deep subject-matter expertise—made her an invaluable asset to the team.
